New Party Accused Of Trying To Divide Chamisa’s Votes
A new political party called Citizens Collaboration For Change (CCC) has been accused of trying to divide Nelson Chamisa's CCC votes
The party led by Bishop Harrison Reuben Zemura, was launched two days ago and has caused unrest on social media among Citizens Coalition for Change supporters.
Comments on the Zim daily Facebook page had supporters saying this was a Zanu Pf strategy to divide Nelson Chamisa votes.
This confusion stems from the similar names and acronyms that the new party has to Chamisa's party. Supporters said some people may unknowingly vote for the new party when their intention is to vote for Chamisa's party.
One of the comments on Facebook on Zim daily said
“It happened in Zambia also before elections but it did not work because Zambians are more clever than that. I am very sure that it won't work in Zimbabwe too. Zanu pf has lost. Which showed that people are not happy with this new party.
