President Emmerson Meets Tony Blair.

His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa has met with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair on the sidelines of the agricultural summit which is ongoing in Kigali, Rwanda.

The two shared lighter moments as the President delivered a message on his Afro-vison towards creating food self-sufficiency.

This comes as a shock to many as Tony Blair and former president Robert Mugabe were not in good books. Mugabe once told Blair to ‘Keep your England and I will keep my Zimbabwe'.

Sharing photos of the two shaking hands at the summit, the president said it was time to let bygones be bygones of the friction between Zimbabwe and its former colonial power as he seeks engagement with British leaders in his Zimbabwe is open for business mantra.

His message said:
For Zimbabwe to flourish, we cannot let history hold us back.
