MDC Chaos: Mwonzora Elected Before Elections

In a circular released by the Mwonzora-led MDC party, Douglas Mwonzora has already been endorsed as the party president and the position will not be contested at the Congress.

Presidential aspirants like Mogen Komichi have been relegated to contesting for weaker positions in the party.

Vincent Tsvangirai has thrown in the towel saying he had seen enough. He said he was now waiting for a new MDC.

This incident marks the second time that MDC elections have been manipulated to suit Douglas Mwonzora following the extraordinary congress where Madam Khupe was defeated in what she described as sham elections and has since shifted to Chamisa's Citizens Coalition for Change.
