Levels Granted Bail, Rape Charge Dropped
Levels had private meeting with Shashl before charges were dropped
The rape case was reported at Borrowdale police station. Levels is now only facing charges of violating the data protection act.
The rape and physical abuse charges have been referred back to the police upon indications that Shashl intends to withdraw.
He has appeared in court on charges of contravening the Data protection Act, and freed on ZWL20 000 bail.
Social media users had condemned Shashl for filing rape charges against DJ Levels with news breaking out yesterday that Levels had been arrested on allegations of raping Shashl.
The Chillspot music maker was being held at Borrowdale Police Station awaiting his court appearance which took place today.
Shashl is the daughter of the former Health Minister Obadiah Moyo.
