Zimbabweans React to Simba & Bona Property List

Zimbabweans have reacted to Simba and Bona's property list that was published as part of the settlement of their divorce.

Known then as a mere pilot, Simba Chikoore got married to Bona Mugabe daughter to the late Robert Gabriel Mugabe who was deposed in a 2017 coup. Now the man is claiming that he should get part of the largesse that is in Bona Mugabe’s name.

Few Zimbabweans are worried about how the two will settle their divorce but people are raising eyebrows at the fortune that 32-year-old Bona has amassed. Multiple farms and prime city land and a mansion in Dubai form part of the properties.

Kerina Mujati said this list exposes Robert Gabriel Mugabe as a hypocrite and pseudo Pan Africanist.

Journalist Hopewell Chin'ono says this was betrayal of the liberation struggle.

The legitimate liberation struggle was fought to give land to the oppressed black masses.

The Rhodesian Prime Minister Ian Smith and his family had one farm.
