South African Kwaito star Professor is on a mission to serve God.
The Umlazi-born singer, whose real name is Mkhonzeni Langa (46), expressed his deep love for the Lord, which he now plans to showcase through his music videos.

“I’ve always been grateful to my creator. He has done great things for me. But I’ve never shown Him the true love that I have for Him. Now is the time. As an artist, I have taken the initiative to use music to praise Him. So, I’ve decided that in my music videos, I’ll do away with things that I believe are against Him. These things include half-n@ked women and alcohol,” Professor said.
He aims to set an example for his fellow kwaito artists, demonstrating that videos can be entertaining without the inclusion of alcohol and n#dity.
“It’s all about creativity. Some believe that music videos must feature alcohol and n@ked women to be exciting. However, that’s not necessary. Many music videos are enjoyable without any of that.

“That’s what I’ve decided to do. God needs to be respected and as someone who has witnessed His mercy, I must lead by example, showing others how He should be praised,” said the Jezabel hitmaker.
Professor has produced hit songs with Kalawa Jazmee and his record label Proper Files. He recently released the song Watsamaya, which he said promotes true love among couples.
