Bishop Stuck With Virgin Prize Money
Uganda’s Anglican archbishop, Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu, has found himself stuck with a substantial cash prize meant for women who remain virgins until marriage.
The initiative, which was started with the intention of awarding a sum of money to the winners, has been unsuccessful in finding a claimant.
The archbishop’s comments, as reported by the state-owned New Vision website, suggest that the project has been ongoing for some time, with a group of women from the Mothers Union tasked with verifying the eventual winners.
However, so far, no winner has been found.
According to Archbishop Kaziimba, the initiative was inspired by the story of Mary, the mother of Jesus, who was believed to have been made pregnant miraculously by God while still a vrgn.
The archbishop noted that the project was focused on women, as it is easier to verify their virginity than that of men.
As a result, the prizes remain unclaimed, and Archbishop Kaziimba has expressed his disappointment at the lack of success with the initiative.

This footage prompted public outrage and immediate police action.
Authorities report that the accused, Moyana, attempted to fabricate a narrative surrounding the incident by alleging that her stepson had been targeted by evil spirits.
In a bid to cover up the heinous crime, Moyana and her husband, Talent Muchato (26), took the child to a self-proclaimed prophet in Ruwa.
Tragically, the minor succumbed to injuries shortly after this visit.
