Spout Code Empowering Zimbabwean Youths With Coding

Science Programming and Uncommon Technologies (SPOUT) has just finished building their second and third innovation hubs in Mufakose and Kuwadzana to empower young adults through coding.

SPOUT is teaching coding, entrepreneurship and inner engineering curriculum in low-income communities in Zimbabwe.

Every afternoon they teach free CS lessons at the local primary and secondary lessons

The two hubs are now home to twenty previously unemployed young adults from the community teaching thousands of elementary and high school students every year while continuing to grow as programmers and developing apps and websites for clients.
