The classroom block will benefit ECD pupils at the school. Previously, three classes were sharing a single classroom which meant that some of the kids used to conduct their lessons under a tree even during the harsh weather.
“The three classes at ECD share the single class and it is a challenge to teachers and learners in conducting lessons,” said the school headmaster Godfrey Chifanzwa.
Macheso's birthday became a blessing to Enterprise Primary School as he also promised to pay school fees for 109 students starting this year.
“If birthdays can always be commemorated in this manner, I believe the heavens would open doors to such people who wholeheartedly give to the needy, ” said Chifanzwa.
Building on the classroom block commenced in May 2019.
The singer also encouraged parents to support their children's talents, saying his desire was to see school children prospering in education.
Villagers, school heads, government officials, traditional chiefs and clergymen graced the occasion.
