Sikhala who appeared before the court virtually was represented by Advocate Thabani Mpofu who argued that 6 months ago, the State lied that there were 20+ witnesses and said it had a strong case. He noted that now that investigations are complete, there are only four witnesses. One of the witnesses is a civilian and he does not implicate Sikhala. He submitted that this was a changed circumstance warranting grant of bail.
