Insurance Council of Zimbabwe increases Motor Vehicle Insurance.

The Insurance Council of Zimbabwe increases charges for Third-party vehicle insurance from 35.60 per term to 175.50 per term effectively 01/ September 2019.

Meaning Insurance + Zinara Licensing is now – $275.50 in total per term from $55.60.Per year it's now $826.50 in total from $165.30

Vehicle licensing is one of the Road User Charges collected by ZINARA. Revenue collected from vehicle licensing is channeled towards Periodic and Routine Maintenance carried out by Road Authorities.

The disbursement of funds to Road Authorities is based on the submission of the program of works, submission of acquittals of previous allocations, and the type and size of the road network.
