Varsity Student’s Stabbing: There Was Another Woman
New details have emerged in the case of the violent stabbing of Audrey Nyasha Rwambiwa, a university student by her boyfriend, Webster Mubata.
Witness claims suggest that another woman was present in their apartment at the time of the attack.
According to a witness account, Webster was with another woman in the flat when the altercation turned violent.

The witness, described the chaotic scene that unfolded just after Audrey returned home from a party early Saturday morning.
“There was another girl in the house when we arrived to help Audrey around 1 a.m. By 3 a.m., we were already at the hospital with her. She came out through the window, bleeding and screaming that they wanted to kill her,” the witness claimed.
The witness also revealed how Webster refused to open the door to those knocking, claiming the situation had been resolved after he had stabbed his girlfriend.

“He told us not to worry and said the issue had been sorted, but Audrey was bleeding and severely injured,” the source revealed.
One neighbour, who requested to remain anonymous, described the pair as secretive and said little was known about their private life until this tragic incident.
“They kept to themselves. We only knew they lived together, but we didn’t know much about them until this tragedy happened early Saturday morning,” the neighbour commented.
A former colleague of Webster’s added that his temper had been a recurring issue. The colleague revealed:
“I used to work with him, and he was very short-tempered. It’s not surprising that something like this happened.”
Meanwhile, Webster is still on the run. Investigations are currently underway as the police launch a manhunt for him.
