Econet Hikes Voice Call Charges

Econet has doubled voice call with effect from today.

The announcement was made yesterday with the notice having been published in the Sunday Mail Newspaper first before it appeared on customers' social media platforms.

Making a call on the Econet mobile network will now cost you twice as much.

A voice call now costs  ZWL0.0139 per second or 83.4 cents per minute.

You will also now pay ZWL0.2428 for an MB of data and that is the same cost for a text message.

 Customers should brace themselves for the same prices for NetOne and Telecel because the trio normally have the same prices for voice calls.
