Following the declaration by the President that Covid-19 is a national disaster, a lock down is being effected across the Civil Service with effect from midnight 29 March 2020 for a period of 21 days ending at midnight 19 April 2020.

Members identified to perform critical functions should continue to report for duty during the lock down period.

All members not reporting for duty are assumed to be working from home and should remain on standby in their locality. PSC buses will be available across all Provinces to ferry members who would be reporting for duty.

Members not reporting for duty with pool vehicles should surrender them so that they remain parked safely at workstations.

Essential movement likes getting medical supplies and food will be allowed but not in large crowds.

Motorists seeking fuel won’t be allowed to leave their cars
