Reports reaching Zimtrending from the state media entails that out of the 65 UK Returnees 3 of them tested positive of Covid-19.
The 65 arrivals from the UK were paced under mandatory quarantine at the Belvedere Teachers College inwhich they were refusing to stay demanding hotels.
According to Deputy Director of Epidemiology and Disease Control in the Ministry of Health and Child Care, Dr Isaac Phiri, the group underwent tests soon after their arrival and are to be tested again after seven days.
To date, the total number of Covid-19 cases stands at 28, with four deaths and two recoveries. The most recent death was recorded on Wednesday. The deceased is an 82-year-old woman from Mhondoro, Mashonaland West province who, shockingly, had no recent travel history. She died at Westend private hospital in Harare.
