Tendai Biti,MDC Alliance Officials Arrested

Six MDC Alliance leaders including Tendai Biti and Linette Karenyi Kore (Vice Presidents) have been arrested outside the Morgan Tsvangirai house which has since been taken over by a rival faction led by Dr Thokozani Khupe with the help of police and army.

The leaders had gone to their party headquarters to understand circumstances leading to the violent takeover by the rival faction.
