Self-styled Mbinga Fails to Settle Habhana Lounge Bill

There was drama after a self proclaimed Mbinga only identified as Mhofela left a local bar Habhana Lounge Without settling a US$2 031 alcohol bill.

According to a circulating bill on social media, it is alleged that Mhofela visited Habhana Lounge last Sunday, enjoyed some alcoholic beverages, but departed without paying his tab.

Audio recordings circulating on social media also indicate that the management at Habhana Lounge made attempts to reach out to him, urging him to settle the outstanding bill in a peaceful manner.

In response to the requests for bill settlement, Mhofela has been evasive, boasting about his wealth and connections to influential people, including government ministers and the owner of Habhana Lounge.

Boasting about his wealth, Mhofela claims he once approached the bar owner and inquired about the amount invested in the establishment, to which the owner stated a figure of US$300,000. Mhofela claims that he then offered the owner US$500,000 as a gesture of his generosity.

However, the management of Habhana Lounge has expressed their disinterest in Mhofela’s connections or his wealth. Their sole concern is for him to settle the outstanding bill without any further delay or complications.

According to the audio recordings, Mhofela has alleged that the management of Habhana Lounge has exaggerated the situation and he has even made threats to take action against certain individuals involved.

As the situation unfolds, those responsible for requesting Mhofela to settle the bill seem undeterred by the threats and continue to encourage him to fulfill his payment obligations.
