The Citizens Coalition for Change spokesperson Gift Ostallos Siziba has announced that the opposition party demands a fresh poll.
Chamisa Rejects Discredited Election Results
Speaking at a press briefing, the recently elected Tshabalala MP demanded that the whole process be started all over again.
“The CCC as led by Advocate Chamisa has assessed the situation and has made the following, clear and emphatic demand; that to exit and restore democracy and legitimacy in our country, we are going to settle for nothing less than a free, fair, credible and proper election in our country.
On how to restore the legitimacy in Zimbabwe, Siziba said:
The solution lies in calling upon our African brothers and those in the region particularly SADC and the AU to help us to facilitate, to mediate, to scaffold and most importantly to guarantee a process that will lead to our return to legitimacy in the shortest period of time.
