The Ministry Of Primary and Secondary Education issued a statement on June and November Examinations.

In its statement, the ministry said

The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education would like to inform parents/guardians that preparations for the 2020 June and November Examinations are going on as scheduled.

In this regard, I would like to inform the nation that as a result of the nationwide lockdown which was announced by HE, the President Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa, the following measures have been put in place:

1. ZIMSEC has provided an electronic platform for the submission of candidate entry data and proof of payment for the 2020 June and November examinations.

2. A call centre has been set up at ZIMSEC head office to support heads of examination centres when they encounter problems in uploading entry data.

3. Candidates do not need to physically visit their examination centres to verify their individual registration data as this will be done using statements of entry.

4. Heads of examination centres who fail to access the online platform should phone ZIMSEC call centres between 0800hrs-1600hrs for assistance.

The call centre numbers are: 08080147, 0242304552/4, 0242302622/4 or

Whatsapp 0772148786

SHOULD THERE BE ANY INTERVENING CIRCUMSTANCES, THE NATION WILL BE ADVISED ACCORDINGLY.
