Arsenal 2-2 Liverpool
In a pulsating encounter at the Emirates, Arsenal and Liverpool shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw. Bukayo Saka opened the scoring for the Gunners just nine minutes in, expertly beating the offside trap. Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk levelled the score with a powerful header from a corner. Declan Rice then set up Mikel Merino from a free kick to restore Arsenal's lead.
However, injuries to defenders Gabriel Magalhães and Jurrien Timber forced Arsenal to bring on 18-year-old Myles Lewis-Skelly and Jakub Kiwior. This gave Mo Salah the space he needed, and he equalised within five minutes of the change. The drama continued as Arsenal had a last-minute goal disallowed.
Thomas Partey, playing at right-back, delivered his best performance of the season, effectively neutralising Luis Diaz.
