Zifa Resumes Coaching Classes

The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has announced the that dates for the resumption of several local coaching courses have been confirmed.
This will come as great news to all local aspiring football coaches.
According to the notice, Harare province will conduct the first program, a Level 1 course at Oriel Boys High School from 15 to 22 August 2022 with Certified instructor Oscar Mazhambe facilitating the course.
Level 2 course will be held at the same venue between 22 and 31 August.
“All instructors who were not part of the FIFA coach educators course held in November 2021 will undergo a refresher course set to run from 18 to 22 August at Belgravia Sports Club & the ZIFA Village.
“Scottish instructor Alan Nixon will facilitate the educational seminar.
“This is in line with the association’s mission to develop all aspects of Zimbabwean football.
Coach education is a critical pillar on which Zimbabwean football’s successful transformation can be anchored on.
“Other provinces are at advanced stages in ascertaining logistical issues of their respective programmes.
“The type of programmes on the roster are informed by the assertion that we can only have good football and good footballers if we have good coaches, and we can have good coaches if we have good coach educators,” reads part of the ZIFA notice.
