Tuku’s Secret Son Aaron Reluctant to Go for DNA Testing
So, there's this guy Aaron Chaka who's claiming to be the secret love child of the late music legend Oliver Mtukudzi.
His mum, Rosie Makumbe, came forward a couple of weeks ago saying she had a thing with Mtukudzi back in the day and that Aaron is the result.
She even claims that one of Mtukudzi's biggest hits, Hazvireve, is about Aaron!
But here's the thing, Aaron's not having it when it comes to taking a free DNA test offered by Tinashe Mugabe, the host of a popular DNA show.
Like, why not just take the test and prove it, right?
But no, Aaron's all, “Nah, I'm good. I've been accepted by the family, and that's all that matters.”

He's even got the family elders on his side, telling Tinashe to mind his own business. It's all getting pretty dramatic, with the whole surname change thing now going to court and all.
But, like, can't they just get a DNA test and sort it out already? Traditions, schmaditions…!”
Aaron said: “The family has already welcomed me. I will never make myself available for DNA testing, even if Tinashe Mugabe offers to do it for free. Besides, this is against our tradition. Traditionally, we did not do DNA tests; why now? Tinashe has since been warned by our elders not to meddle in our family affairs. Family elders are confident because my late father introduced me to them.
“I have long been accepted in the family and am now only focused on changing my surname. The matter is now before the High Court. With the assistance of my father’s relatives, we wrote an affidavit about my issue, and now we are waiting for the final judgment from the High Court so that my surname can be changed.”
